Carlos is a remarkable 20-year-old in the final stretch of earning his college degree in agronomy — a milestone no one in his family has ever reached. He joined El Ayudante's program as a young child and his sponsor's consistent support gave him the stability and encouragement to pursue education at every level. Carlos is set to graduate next year and hopes to use his knowledge to serve agriculture and food security in Nicaragua.
