El Ayudante is a Christian humanitarian organization based in León, Nicaragua, dedicated to partnering with the Nicaraguan people to transform the nation: one child, one family, one community at a time. Our teachers and staff have cared for children and their families to provide housing, education, nutritious meals, clean water, medical care and spiritual nurturing every day. We care for children of all ages starting as young as pre-school, preparing them to become self-sufficient young adults once they “graduate” from our program. 71% of our children have earned a high school degree or higher, but we know we can do even better with your help!
